Fred has recorded and mastered thousands of projects, in various musical genres for over 30 years. He built a studio business with a long list of loyal clients from high profile artists to hard working, dedicated musicians.
In 2004, Alicia Keys was so impressed with the vibe of the facility, that she bought the whole studio and building from Fred. She renamed it “The Oven”, and has since produced a number of hits from there. Fred retained the Tiki brand name, then went on to create a new, more intimate studio, with a special focus on mastering.
Fred gets the big picture. He does that while maintaining the deepest respect for the talent of others. He built Tiki Studios to follow his passion, and to help musicians create a great sound. After your music is mastered by Fred, you, too, will understand why.
Tiki Mastering Studios, is based in New York on Long Island’s famous North Shore, and is a commercial facility, just 45 minutes from Manhattan.
